Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you create an account, we store your username, email address, and a securely hashed password. If you purchase the app, we store your Stripe customer ID and payment ID for transaction records and refund processing. We also store basic account metadata such as registration date and last login time.

What we never collect

• Your AI API keys — these stay on your device and connect directly to AI providers
• Your chat messages — all conversations are stored locally on your device
• Your character data, presets, or worldbooks — these live in your local database
• Usage analytics, behavioral tracking, or advertising data — we don't do any of that

Community content

If you share content to the Sparklo community (characters, presets, worldbooks), that content is stored on our servers and made available to other authorized users. Creator-protected content is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. You retain full ownership of everything you create.

Third-party services

• Stripe — processes payments securely. We never see or store your credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
• AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, etc.) — your device connects to these directly using your own API key. Sparklo has no involvement in or visibility into these connections.

Data storage and security

Account data is stored on our server with standard security practices (encrypted connections, hashed passwords, access controls). Community content is encrypted at rest. We do not sell, share, or monetize user data in any form.

Cookies

Sparklo uses a single authentication token stored in your browser's local storage to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party cookie services.

Your rights

• Delete your account — contact us and we will permanently remove your account and all associated data from our servers
• Export your data — your chat history and local content can be exported directly from the app at any time
• Withdraw consent — you can stop using the community features at any time; your local data remains yours
